As of LU48, it is no longer necessary to perform the access quest The Eyes of Anashti Sul in order to gain access to The Fountain of Life.

[edit] Steps

1. Go to The Pillars of Flame.
2. Find the Rock of Eldonis (recommend taking carpet to Giant's Field) and inspect it.
   • The rock is at ( 2000, -266, -537 ) /waypoint 2000, -266, -537 (under water) in front of The Guardian of Eldonis.
   • To inspect the rock you must know the Koada'Dal language. Learn the language by completing the subquest called Knowledge of the Past, or by purchasing it in Castleview Hamlet, Crow's Resting Place, or Neriak.
3. Pull the rod from the rock
   • You fail to remove the rod
   • A timer starts and The Guardian of Eldonis becomes attackable (level 58^^^ Epic x2). You have 15 minutes to kill him. He may not become attackable until you try to attack him.
4. Once the guardian is defeated, remove the rod from the rock to receive Rod of Rathe Shattering.
5. Enter The Fountain of Life ( 895, -1, 245 ) /waypoint 895, -1, 245 in The Silent City.
6. Kill Godking Anuk.
7. Break the Ewer of Sul'Dae by using the Rod of Rathe Shattering (right click, use) up the wall.
8. Return to Seeker Abdeef in Maj'Dul for reward.
