A melee attack that causes an enemy struck by this attack to spin, exposing their back to the Pirate for a short duration.
 
Target Enemy
Casting 0.5 seconds
Recast 30.0 seconds
Range 10.0 meters
 
Effects:
  • Inflicts X-Y melee damage on target.
  • Forces target to face the same direction as the caster.
  • Prevents target from changing direction while active.
    • If target is not Epic.
  • Roots target.
    • If target is not Epic.

  • Walk The Plank is perhaps one of the most devastating and useful skills that a Rogue can use. The skill once landed forces the target to turn around stunned, and expose it's back to the rogue. What makes this so useful, above just the obvious, is that if somehow your main tank loses aggro for a split second, and the mob is currently making mince meat of the wizard that pulled aggro. Hit the mob with walk the plank, forcing it to turn completely away, or to the side, stunned. Giving most tanks enough time to taunt the mob back on them.
  • Walk the plank as a soloist is very useful as you can imagine. Cast in order, you can get off 3 attacks, 1 stun, and pickpocket your enemy in one smooth attempt. Casting WTP/Backstab/Stun/Backstab/Pickpocket. You can make quick work of most soloable mobs in Norrath.
