IRC channel contacts Edit

Because Flo is not currently active on the EQ2i wiki, I'm changing the IRC channel contact to me. Uberfuzzy would be an excellent contact as well (as he is the only other active admin).--Kodia 19:58, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

I'm afraid you can't do that, and neither can I. Contact is a technical position, not an assumed responsibility. As you can see using /msg ChanServ info #eq2i, Florence is contact, and I'm alternate.

I can give you and Uberfuzzy a greater access level though, that way you two can manage the channel without involving me (appointing other ops, modifying modes and so forth).

Thankyou. And as a clarification, I didn't meant to assume responsibility in the actual IRC channel, but to notify our users on the IRC article page that Flo wasn't the best contact at present for that kind of information or help. He's placed himself on indefinite inactive status (per his talk page), so I want to be sure users can get ahold of people who need help if they can't get ahold of you because of time zone issues.
