What does this information mean?

Hints on Defeating Edit

The heroic ^^^ Ghastly Seedlings that accompany this mob at the start will respawn as epic versions if you kill them. They return after about 15-20 sec. after dying.

Has some sort of forced target change ability that will instantly kick targeting back onto yourself if you target him or the seedlings, preventing you from doing much of anything. Doesn't show up as a detrimental that can be cured, and I didn't see anything in the logs showing what was cast, only that they all counted as friendly targets -- but it's not a charm. Killing the seedlings with AoE splash damage broke the effect, at least until the next wave popped and cast it again after being up for maybe 10 sec.
