- Pursue the missing piece of the clockwork in order to earn the regard of the lizardfolk and hopefully get a chance to examine it
- Kill Brokenskull pirates ( 988, 386, 1058 ) /waypoint 988, 386, 1058 until you loot a Clockwork Transmission Regulator
- Hail z-bot XGO ( 1149, 392, 860 ) /waypoint 1149, 392, 860
- Approach the entrance to the Obelisk of Ahkzul ( 855, 508, 1831 ) /waypoint 855, 508, 1831 for the update. DON'T zone in yet! You can be zoned in remotely after getting the update.
- Go back and hail Professor Fondfate ( 1740, 451, 846 ) /waypoint 1740, 451, 846 regarding what you have learned.
- Go back and enter the Obelisk of Ahkzul and kill the last named mob in the zone, Executor Vark. You will receive a Staff of Theer.
- Return to Dropship Landing Zone and hail Professor Fondfate
