How to Start

This quest is obtained by clicking a book on the bookshelf on the third floor of the tower and reading the whole text

You need to have access to 3rd floor in the Tower of the Four Winds
This quest is completely soloable until the final step, in which you need to defeat Xux'laio Master of the Fluttering Wing inside the instance. However, at that point, you have access to raid instance (Xux'laio's Roost).

StepsEdit

Read through the book to accept the quest.
Find the bird cage behind pirate's camp in The Mystic Lake at ( 71, -37, 329 ) /waypoint 71, -37, 329(up in the tree)
Find all 8 birdcages in the Mystic Lake and the Village of Shin within 20 minutes
- Mystic Lake
  - ( 145, -38, 76 ) /waypoint 145, -38, 76
  - ( 9, -2, -3 ) /waypoint 9, -2, -3 (after you exit top of Sepulcher area, look up, in tree)
  - ( -285, 0, -106 ) /waypoint -285, 0, -106 (rock surrounded by several pairs of undead mobs, 63^^ Heroic; clear or be sneaky; go to EAST side of tree and look due WEST; walk forward onto root, giving you some elevation; face due NORTH; jump onto rock)
  - ( -106, 9, 315 ) /waypoint -106, 9, 315 (on ground)
- Village of Shin
  - ( -251, 4, -71 ) /waypoint -251, 4, -71
  - ( -184, 7, -174 ) /waypoint -184, 7, -174
  - ( 38, 33, -156 ) /waypoint 38, 33, -156
  - ( 81, 13, -60 ) /waypoint 81, 13, -60 (jump up on wall in front of the house)
Now you need to return to the first birdcage in Mystic Lake and release then bird spirit
Follow the bird spirit to the Xux'laio's Roost entrance at ( 149, -34, 38 ) /waypoint 149, -34, 38 for an update
Enter the raid instance and defeat Xux'laio Master of the Fluttering Wing to complete the quest
