StrategyEdit

The Horseman originally spawns at the base of The Hollow Tree, in front of its dark gaping hole. To aggro him, someone in your group/raid must be holding a lost necklace and must right click and offer the necklace for the Horseman to take. Once the tank secures aggro, drag the Horseman off the strewn field of bones surrounding the tree (to the road adjacent the tree) and then back to the gaping maw of the tree itself to weaken him. 2 Epic x2 adds spawn at the tree as soon as the Horseman is activated. These adds mem-wipe so it is best to kill them first and then burn down the Horseman.

At 50% health, the Horseman dismounts from his horse. The horse will aggro you and the Horseman will heal to 75% health. It's recommended to kill his horse first, as it seems to keep the Horseman's health boosted.

There are no real tanking tricks to this mob: except for pulling him away and then back to the Hollow Tree, just burn, burn, burn!
