LoreEdit

There are more than just Freeport citizens buried here; this is where the enemies of the Overlord are entombed as well.

Many years ago, the land where this graveyard now stands was once the northern part of Freeport. It was home to a corrupt order of knights that was blindly loyal to an ancient god called Mithaniel Marr. This order of heretics was known as the Knights of Truth. They were a group of confused and dangerous men that stood in the way of Freeport's progress. As time passed, the Freeport Militia and others loyal to the Overlord grew in power and number. The Overlord conceived a plan to liberate his great city from the clutches of the fanatical followers of Marr. The Overlord called forth the brave Freeport Militia and lead his great army to drive out the twisted followers of Marr from our city once and for all. The people cheered to see that the hour of their liberation was at hand!

This graveyard now houses the bones of the fallen Knights of Truth, buried where they once fought all those long years ago. It is said that the echoes of that ancient battle can still be heard in the deep, dark night.

Geography Edit

The Graveyard is small enough to traverse on foot. It is split into four sections - Traitors' Terrace running up the east side of the zone, the Scourge Tombs in the northwest, The Destroyed Tower of Marr in the southwest, and an unnamed section running up the west edge of the zone. The gate to The Commonlands is west, and the gate to Sunken City is in the northeast.

With LU62, access to the Freeport districts Stonestair Byway and Longshadow Alley was blocked off, and a Travel Bell installed near the gate to Stonestair Byway.( -66, -12, 125 ) /waypoint -66, -12, 125 Eq2map. The City of Freeport, The Commonlands docks, and any of the other Freeport Outlying Areas can be accessed via bell.
