Location Edit

The entrance to the Fortress of Drunder is located at ( 819, 425, 3647 ) /waypoint 819, 425, 3647 in the Eastern Wastes, located on the platform far up the side of the mountain overlooking the Wakening Lands area.

Lore Edit

Drunder is the fortress that Rallos Zek raised himself on the Plane of War. As part of his plan of invasion he forced Drunder onto the face of Norrath to serve as a portal from the Plane of War to Norrath.

Geography Edit

The Fortress of Drunder is primarily a hub for accessing the many dungeons and raid instances released as part of LU60. The zone consists primarily of a large raised platform with walkways leading to the various zone entrances.

There are discovery points outside each of the three dungeon entrances. In order of difficulty and intended progression, Spire of Rage is to the southeast, Strategist's Stronghold to the southwest, and Tower of Tactics straight north.

To the east is The Great Forge, another discovery location. NPCs for tradeskill quests can be found here.

To the west is a spiral staircase that leads to the lower level. The lower level is its own POI and discovery location, The Foundry. However, The Foundry is completely devoid of NPCs and appears to be unfinished. Falling off the platforms that make up the second floor will land players in the foundry. The falling distance is not enough to do fatal damage to players without falling protection.

Travel Edit

The zone is small and can be traversed on foot.
