On the north side of the central pyramid, a single swirling ooze sits. If you kill this ooze, you begin a heroic ring event that spawns a series of monsters resulting in a final named monster as follows:

  1. 1 swirling ooze (46^^^ Heroic)
  2. 1 bubbling ooze (47^^^ Heroic)
  3. 2 bubbling oozes (47^^ Heroic)
  4. 3 bubbling oozes (47^ Heroic)
  5. 4 bubbling oozes (47^ Heroic)
  6. 2 boiling oozes (48^ Heroic)
  7. 3 boiling oozes (48^^ Heroic)
  8. 4 boiling oozes (48^ Heroic)
  9. The Acidic Mass (49^^^ Heroic)

This Ring Event is part of the quest, The Heart of Fear, but can be completed without having the quest.
