• This is the evil-aligned version of the world event quest. The good-aligned version of this quest is Storms of Mystery.
• If you've already started the quest, evil-aligned people can visit an Arcane Science Teleportation Scholar in Gorowyn (2605,5,1181) to get teleported to The Commonlands. You can also get ported back to Gorowyn from The Commonlands.

[edit] Starting the Quest

Speak to an Arcane Science apprentice. You'll find the Arcane Science apprentice's all over Norrath. Check the Arcane Science apprentice List for the locations.

[edit] Steps

While traveling, I happened upon an Arcane Science apprentice that was investigating the bizarre and certainly unnatural storms that have appeared across Norrath. They are very concerned about their nature and origin.

1. You'll get an Arcane Science apprentice's report. Bring it to Librarian Motius Feldarn in the Academy of Arcane Science in North Freeport.
2. Find The Inimicus Codex within the Academy of Arcane Science. You'll find it on the last table next to Qalantir ( 5,-7,-137 ).
3. Deliver The Inimicus Codex to Librarian Motius Feldarn.
4. You need to speak with a member of the Order of Flame inside the Shrine of Thunder. Head to Lavastorm and talk to Pallasa Rargon, a Disciple of Flame. ( -149, -117, 634 ) /waypoint -149, -117, 634
5. You'll receive the Acumen Occultation Instrument. Return to Librarian Motius Feldarn at the Academy of Arcane Science in North Freeport.
6. Librarian Motius Feldarn will give you the Min Frith Dorchae potion. Now you must use this potion on 9 tempest affected creatures. You'll find these creatures under the Void-Storms across Norrath. When you use the potion on them, a voidbeast will spawn (scales to your level). (For a comprehensive list of the locations check the Tempest affected Creatures List.) You have to wear the Acumen Occultation Instrument to see the tempest affected creatures.
7. Return to Librarian Motius Feldarn to get your reward.

The last step of this quest is repeatable. See Void Tempests Continue.

• Title: Tempest Chaser
• There are many different rewards available. You can choose between Armor, Cloaks, Weapons, Potions, Drinks or Furniture. To choose your reward you have to turn in the Academy of Arcane Science's Note of Service to Scientist Dally Scrumplecog at the upper floor of the Academy of Arcane Science in North Freeport. Prices of the items vary between 1 and 4 Academy of Arcane Science's Note of Service.
