Okay, of all the help/newbie bits of info that have been added, this one is the coolest, imho. Nice work. Would it be worthwhile to have a see also link to some of the zone connections? We have many of those listed in the maps category but I don't know that we have them in a separate category.--Kodia 20:05, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Timorous Deep listed as Kunark vs Faydwer
Edit
I'm conflicted about this. If we ignore the expansion pack boundaries and just look at the world of Norrath as a whole, then Timorous Deep is really a Faydwer newbie zone. It's connected directly to Faydwer, its quest lines and city tasks lead to Faydwer, and it has a satellite camp on Faydwer. It has practically nothing in common with the Kunark continent, aside from the sarnak race, of course. I thought it would be in the best interest of newbies to say that Faydwer has two cities and two newbie zones (i.e. Kelethin and Gorowyn). -- Sassinak 18:18, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ignoring when it was introduced, I think I'd still lump it with Kunark. It's connected by land to nowhere, anyplace you go from TD is via a griffon or portal, so it's physical location doesn't really help make a choice. However, the Sarnaks are a Kunark race through and through, and add back in when it was introduced and I see it as a Kunark zone. Yeah, for those starting there it leads to faydwer, but that's simply because Kunark has become a wild land full of 'tough' beasts that no young Sarnak could handle. The initial blurb about Kunark could just be updated to say that it contains the Timorous Deep but offers no mid-level content. --lordebon 19:01, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- by location, it is located closer to kunark then faydwer (poor griffins), its even part of the kunark map. but the sarnak do have an small outpost in BB and a bit of alliance with the dwarves there now. also, in EQ1 it was also a kunark zone. once i figure out how to mess with the template might move the overrelm stuff to its own category as well, technically its not rediscovered, its a new area altogether.--skethsis 22:43, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- I'm with people on the Kunark side. It's always been a Kunark zone for me.--Kodia 12:02, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
