The best place to farm for the tablets is probably the Eye of Anuk in SS. Mobs are around 51/52vv in groups. Although saying that, the drop rate is still terrible! - Decree 15:15, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

The best place is The Sunken Spire in SS (-1025, -106, -885) Krouse (2009)

7/19/2011 Lafau on EQ2X server; I found that at lvl 70, as with most drop mobs below my lvl, if I grabbed 4-8 at a time and whipped them within a few seconds of each other using AOEs, that the drop rate was much greater than others have reported.... it took me about 30 min to get all 6 (which includes the first one). The sun-baked seemed to have the best drop rate and it was fairly easy to kite 3 or 4 till I grabbed most of the spawns.
