Note: The statues do not get placed on the pedestals, but rather in front of the pedestals.

No, they get placed, properly, ON the pedestals but SOME of the positions will work if placed on the floor in front of it. Best way to do this os to run from ped. to ped. placing the statue until it cheers. Also, be sure to have one player stand by each of the 2 doors while 4 players run statues back and forth.
