Level 80 Availability of The Icy DigEdit

The following note was left on the main article page for the Roekillik Timeline without attribution or confirmation:

The information should be confirmed in game, preferably with screenshots and every effort should be made to ensure that the level of a character is the only limitation to entering the zone.--Kodia 01:05, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

On 4/23/09, I was able to enter Icy Dig with a level 80 Necromancer while on this quest. If Unsigned wasn't, the problem is not his level. Dauthus 08:41, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

confirmed as well. i couldnt enter first, then i read on the quest page, that i should buy explosives, but that didnt help either. then i went a head, deleted the quest (i picked it up on 2006/1/12 OMG!). and now i can enter with the explosives in my bag (not sure if they are needed tho) --Vraeth 09:19, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Thankyou for the confirmation, folks. I had thought this might be the case as well because I had been in the zone a long time ago and I was pretty sure that I'd been level 80 at the time. But I hadn't gone back to confirm it.--Kodia 12:26, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

The entrance to the Icy Dig has always been glitchy for me. Many, many times I have clicked the door only to be sent into Permafrost without choice. I go back out and try again - in one case I tried five times and gave up, yet three weeks later managed to get in on the second try. As far as I know it has been this way since the zone was "fixed" to remove the level cap. Janze-Nek 04:00, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
