I did this at 11:30 AM game time (38 berserker). The guard that spawned was a 38 one down chevron. I probably would have killed him except one of the 68 elites happened to walk around the corner... he one-shot me =\ Anyway, if you don't mind dying, you still keep the schedule that you stole so you don't really have to wait until nighttime. Just did this step as level 72 brig - guards did NOT spawn for me at 1.20am game time.

Can confirm guards didn't pop for me as level 25 bruiser, 2:55 a.m game time.

OP tried during the day. His point was it's doable, but without adds. There is no argument that this can be done at "night" without any pops.
