HP Edit

The HP of Nexona are hard to say because Nexona has a 90k heal, considering the fight is like 8 to 10 minutes you have to deal 25mio-28mio Damage on Nexona to see him/her dead. -- Chillispike 15:30, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Specimens Edit

We have had success taking down the middle front Specimen and the one on the Right after pull. Make sure that no one attacks untill the MT has pulled and initiated good aggro, else the shiny spawns will move to attack someone else.

Question, are the specimens taken in order? Or just randomly at fixed damage/health levels? The strategy outlined indicated that the 1st specimen (middle) is taken at 90%. If that is so, it makes sense to let that one go and take out the other specimens that would heal at 80, 70, 60?

VERY VERY Important to watch the DPS on Nex, don't let it get to AE level, been pretty good targeting 30K as that takes in spikes and won't dip below crucial level. Kding 18:28, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

IIRC, you can take specimens in whatever order you like. I think Nexona takes them in a certain order, but only in the sense that if she takes them ABCD and you kill ABC when she hits 90 she'll still eat D. They are actually consumed at fixed health amounts... the first is 90% (which heals her to full). I think the second one occurs around 80 or 85 and doesn't quite fill her to full (only takes her to 95%ish). But no, the specimen position has nothing to do with when she heals... if there is a specimen up when she reaches a trigger health she will drain it regardless of which it is. My guild usually kills 2 or 3 and just takes the heal at 90% since its not a huge amount. Sometimes we only get 2 down if we're raiding light, again not a big deal. The main thing is keeping your DPS in that 30-38k range on Nex. --lordebon 18:38, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
