Today (8/10/08) I tried to enter Nek2 but you still need the access quest completed. I changed the page to reflect this as before it said it wasn't needed. Prodigus 04:17, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Sokera's comment moved from main article[]

((-Sokera- I just ran through this zone myself, with a group. Thinking it was for an update to Maltena's story. It's not :}). But the good thing is, is there are tons of aa monsters and decent loot. Storyline to this instance is all the sisters being murdered, and after each 'remains' of the sisters is killed another door is unlocked. Pretty interesting. Allthough disheartening to learn that Maltena's story isn't continued. :) )

Keys to Empty Chests[]

Has anyone ever found anything in any of the chests? We ran the instance last night and opened about 8 chests, some with iron keys and some with copper keys (we never found the brass key). All of them were empty, and I had the feeling we were doing something wrong.

I'm tempted to add a bugged flag here, or at least a WTF (if we had such a flag - ha). Anyway, I come to the wiki for in-depth info and was hoping we could add something about these keys if anybody knows something more. Camelotcrusade 15:08, March 22, 2010 (UTC)
ditto, all keyed chests are empty for me too, this zone is seriously bugged, sent two separate bug reports, please bug this zone if you do it, if you get trash items that look like gremlins in your inventory, bug it, if you get no results from "quested items" like keys that drop, bug it, this zone has been neglected badly - today's date: 6/5/2012.

Broken Loot Tables[]

As a heads up for anyone who is interested in this dungeon: since the multiple gear re-itemizations which have been done for the progression servers, the loot tables are quite broken. This is a level 50-56 dungeon, with virtually all of the bosses dropping level 40 treasured loot. Lord Everling, a level 56 boss, drops level 50 treasured items. There are also some bosses which have completely broken loot tables which drop items that no longer exist in the game (if you look at them in your inventory, they have the green "bug" icon and show as dual wield weapons which do 1 point of damage).

You do get an achievement for completing the dungeon, and it is one of the chronomage missions, but aside from that there really is no point in going here now. Particularly if you're around level 50 and looking for gear upgrades. In that sense, it's a complete waste of your time until the developers fix it (and it's been this way for about five years now, so that is unlikely). Megaton238 (talk) 04:20, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
