"Obvious" Relationship
Edit
Maybe it's just me, but I don't see this "Obvious Relationship" between the common and rare loam. If anything I see the opposite... alkali loam and alkaline loam are both rares (yet seem the most closely related). Some have a bit of a relationship in naming (fused and bonded, as an example) but many more don't have that relationship and can actually get it more confused, in my opinion. --Lordebon 15:22, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

- Indeed.... Note removed. --Lordebon 15:44, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
- The relationship isn't obvious, but it is there. Alkaline elements are typically salts, pliant and malleable are kind of synonymous, alkali elements are typically very soluble, etc. It's a pretty technical relationship that most people wouldn't really recognize (I never would've seen it without this note). --Sage Locano Aredium (talk/contribs) 17:26, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
