Why do articles with lists of locs keep getting changed to say "random spawns" when so many clearly are nothing of the sort? It is annoying to have to go back through older (correct) versions of the page to find the locations, especially when I'm looking up Wiki to help somebody else in the game (therefore "random" is zero help because I am in a different zone from the person needing help).

When items are not at a fixed location (eg pie always spawns at either point A or B) then we typically do not list locs on the main article page. I removed the list because if it was random, the list locs could have quickly grown ridiculously long. I now try to move the list of locs to the talk page when that happens, but obviously for some reason that did not happen here. Are the 4 locs that used to be on the page the ONLY locations these can spawn? If they are limited to just those few spawn points then we can put it back into the main article page. I've also been working on some collapsable section code for semi-random, relatively long loc lists that will start them hidden but allow them to be expanded for those trying to find the locs, but no ETA on that being pushed out to everyone yet. --lordebon 11:00, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the quick reply :) So the idea behind it is to keep readability and accessibility high. I will keep an eye on these things then and report back any discrepancies I see to try to help with this aim. And where I am sure the spawns are not random, I'll post a fact check. The locs on a separate page are possibly a good idea so long as there is a clear link on the main page.

Now as regards this quest, I've done it on six characters now and the items always seem to spawn in the same place. I'm almost convinced they are not at all random but if anybody else can give some input on this it would be great :) Jevangal 21:52, September 8, 2009 (UTC)
