Its a ramdom location.. you can try theses location.. but you can just swim around and you will find a lot of sunken bones

General

Tab key

It's helpful to constantly hit the tab key as you search. It lets you keep track of where sharks are in the darkness (they light up when targeted) and also targets bones if you get close enough to them. --Kevin 22:29, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

It's also helpful to swim in a small circular area roughly 5-10 seconds apart. I was able to get all 15 bones in 5 minutes. (Jrel)

Gathering bonus!

You get a point in gathering skill for each sunken bones you collect i went from 200 to 215 quickly using the "Tab Key" method. Thanks.

How exactly do you bury the bones at the tree? I clicked on it, but it "drew forth a good amount of sap" for one of my other quests. I can't do anything with the bones except examine and destroy. 67.238.219.49 18:23, November 24, 2011 (UTC)
