2nd Step: I need to find some spikes. Perhaps I should check the barrels in the various orc encampments. -- The spike is at the Orc Outpost, loc -193.50, -27.03, -84.01
3rd Step: I need to kill the Sullon Lumberjacks until I can find a good handle to attach to the spiked club. -- The a Sullon lumberjack can be found in the vicinity of the Defiled Forrest.
Once the handle is found the reward is the Blood Ore Basher (item).
After spending several hours killing mobs in Zek I was unable to have the quest starter drop for me. According to the EQ2 forums, ZAM and eq2wire.com, the quest starter still drops, but much of the information is 5+ years old. ZAM has the drop chance listed at ~1% from scorched trunklords, yet killing them proved just as fruitless as any other mob. If anyone has the quest starter drop please update the article and/or leave a note somewhere!

Blood Ore Basher Confirmation[]
Just putting a confirmation here about the Bood Ore Basher. The quest starter item: misshappen block of blood ore dropped today March 22, 2019 off of a Scorched Trunklord.
Also. a clarification, the first step wants you to kill wood elves (the green hoods) for an item for the basher. I forget which item but killing the wood elves will lower your standing with the green hood faction. Can bring that faction up by killing Deathfist ogres.
