Varis Listening CrystalEdit

Confirmed by Donilla: After sneaking to target the crystal I as able to kill it with an arrow from the stairs without getting any aggro.

Confirmed by Zesra. I used Drain Life from the stairs and nothing aggroed.

Unconfirmed by Caelista. I had to Feign Death on the stairs because there is a roamer at the bottom, and an Adherent at the top.

I did it from the stairs. There is only one see invis in the room: a roamer in the middle. There are 2 ugly mobs in a rounded corner, with a marshall. All mobs are solo. Maybe you can not see the crystal, it is a mob but it is very small ! go to the stairs to the right, a little up, this is safe (stay near the wall and don't go too high, there are other mobs on the second floor, they do not see invis but you'll have to cast). Look in the direction of the 2 ugly, use tab until you have the crystal selected. Cast something to hit it (the crystal is level 10), I did it with Ice Comet without even a single aggro. Then I just got out of here by running, easy.

This quest must have been changed since the last comments and info posted here. I just did this and all the mobs were soloable and there is no named drolvarg. There is a drolvarg that is next to a named Iksar, "Commander Vask", one up arrow.

Ru'Kaus Listening Crystal Edit

For the listening crystal in the tower of Ru'Kaus, I was able to sneak up to the tower, past the two guards on the stairs entrance. THere are no guards on the ramp up the tower. After that just jump on to the ledge outside and zap the crystal keeping out of view of the windows.Donilla 22:11, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
