Background
Edit
Original speculation was that the Sword of Destiny is the other half, or sister, of the Qeynos Claymore. This was hinted at in the conclusion of the Claymore Timeline. It may also be the sword Emperor D'Vinn grudgingly yields to an agent of Mayong Mistmoore when you enter the throne room at the end of The Acadechism. It is possible that this may also be the sword referred to by the following line in Zebuxoruk's prophecies:
- Cleft in twine at the dawn of time, the two shall stand once more in a united front against that which brings the end.
It is revealed in Chapter 2 that this sword is the stolen Soulfire sword, taken from Lucan D'Lere, and he's not happy about it.

Players wishing to begin the first chapter of the Swords of Destiny can speak to Sir Groktog, in The Commonlands at The Ruins of Val`marr ( 317, -46, 237 ).
He is a Froglok wearing the Qeynos Guard shield from the Claymore quest line.
