[edit] Starting the Quest

• Must have completed the quest Improving Relations with the Locals.
• Prerequisite: 240+ skill in Gathering and Mining.
• Prerequisite: Lvl 50+ Alchemist

[edit] Steps

1. Speak to Spark Augren about his early aptitude for the family business of alchemy.
2. Help him gather ingredients for his experiment:
   • Harvest 5 salt at the far edge of Mara beach. ( 135, 0, -82 ) /waypoint 135, 0, -82 Requires 240 Gathering skill.
   • Harvest 5 aluminum among the rocks near the waterfalls by the Tower of the Four Winds. ( -15, 0, -167 ) /waypoint -15, 0, -167 Requires 240 Mining skill.
   • Harvest 5 sulfur in the rocks near Terai Augren, not far from the Mystic Waterfalls. ( -245, 0, -72 ) /waypoint -245, 0, -72 Requires 240 Gathering skill.
3. Return to your home town and buy 10 coal from a merchant. Coal can be purchased from broker on the docks
4. Return to Spark Augren for your reward.
