This quest is step 5 of The Peacock Club Timeline

Steps

1. Speak to Antiquitor Kantus Mor'Tael ( -235, 135, -8 ) /waypoint -235, 135, -8.
2. Find the wards in the The Sinking Sands. The wards are shaped like large dark Ys and spawn RANDOMLY (see the talk page for random locations found by other people):
   • Demise (in the tarantula area)
   • Oblivion (around lizard oasis)
   • Ruin (Broog area, giants and Brutes near orc-highway)
   • Ethernere (near the Bay of Anuk)
   • Dissolution (around undead tower)
   • Necrosis (around gnoll oasis)
3. Return to Antiquitor Kantus Mor'Tael.
4. Examine the pyre in The Sinking Sands at ( -603, -130, -1143 ) /waypoint -603, -130, -1143. You are now on a 3 minute timer to complete next 2 steps.
5. Kill 5 level 50 skeletons (Level 50 dry bones skeletons will work, Level 49 ones will not).
   1. Note: the mobs surrounding the pyre (4) are level 51 skeletons even though they are not tagged as such!
6. Return to the pyre and examine it to spawn The Ghost of Hadal before the timer ends.
7. Talk to The Ghost of Hadal to complete the quest.

  • Belt of the Northern Magi
  • Prismatic Pauldrons of the Peacock
