Grants access to Prison of Admiral Grimgadget

This quest is part 3 of a 3-quest series in the Antonica Timeline or the Commonlands Timeline.

Starting the Quest Edit

When you enter the zone, you will appear on a dock with the Smarmy Sprocket ship behind you and Heron Cogspinner and Sparrow Cogcarrier directly in front of you. If you don't move from this spot when you zone in, the pirates on the dock should not attack you. However, be aware that the pirates are flagged to see you through invisibility / sneak, even if the red highlight denoting agro disappears. Therefore, you must fight a ways through before you will be able to begin the quest.

Although the quest in your journal may "scale" numerically, the encounters do not, so it is best to chronomentor down to 30 if you have out leveled the zone so you can get experience and AA from the named.

  1. Fight your way through the pirates on the dock to the prison in the center of the island (note these agro in big groups 8-16 pirates at once!).
  2. Right click on the prison door and select "Use". The gnomes will run up and blow open the door.
  3. Fight your way down to the first cell.

StepsEdit

  1. Hail Cap'n Cog, who tells you to find the key to the cell he and Admiral Grimgadget are in.
  2. Take the doorway to the left of the fireplace (north) into a deeper part of the prison.

  3. Right-click Ol'Greasy at the end of the hallway of prison cells and take the keys you find. Be prepared to kill the jailed pirates immediately once you take the keys.
  4. Return to Cap'n Cog's cell and speak with Admiral Grimgadget.
  5. Take the doorway to the right of the fireplace (east) and kill Captain Jihannum in the first cell on your right in the hallway. Be prepared to kill the jailed pirates in the other cells once you start attacking the Captain. You will have to click the first door on the right to be able to kill Captain Jihannum.
  6. Go back to the prison cell and hail Admiral Grimgadget again. Cap'n Cog will run to the ship. Follow him to the ship and wait for the Admiral to arrive.
  7. Once Admiral Grimgadget arrives, hail him again to complete the quest.
  8. Next hail Cap'n Cog and agree with him.
  9. Click the small ladder on the side of the ship.
