To obtain this quest you need to first get the quest The Crossing of the Fanged Sea from Rath'Adran in the fort area at Warship Dock ( 478, -40, 223 ) /waypoint 478, -40, 223 of Zek, the Orcish Wastes.
StepsEdit
- Speak with Liddy Bobick in Rivervale ( -77, -17, -14 ) /waypoint -77, -17, -14
- Seek out the the tavern "Food on Foot" in Rivervale, examine the little box on a shelf in the kitchen ( -100, -25, -96 ) /waypoint -100, -25, -96.
- Seek out "Kevlin's Gear" in Rivervale, examine book on the bar ( -41, -9, -168 ) /waypoint -41, -9, -168.
- Note: KOS heroic mobs that DO see invis inside. Level 38-39^^^.
- Seek out "Digg's Tall n Stout" (Discovery name is "The Loom"), examine a book on the top shelf ( -197, -18, -19 ) /waypoint -197, -18, -19.
- Note: KOS mob inside, do not see invis. Also, bottom shelf can be examined for the Nightblood Lore & Legend book.
- Hunt corrupted brigands to gain the five keys. Some can be found near ( -189, 2, 171 ) /waypoint -189, 2, 171.
- Visit Rivergate ( -189, 0, 199 ) /waypoint -189, 0, 199.
- Open the chest in the river at ( -203, -9, 204 ) /waypoint -203, -9, 204 and take the nautical journal from it.
- Read (examine) the journal while standing very near the chest in the river.
- You must examine the book while very near the chest in order for The Crossing of the Fanged Sea quest to update. Reading the book anywhere else only completes THIS quest and will not update the Crossing quest until you come back to the chest and read the book again. If you don't get an update during this quest, come back and read the book again or go back to Biddy Bobick in EL and read the book in front of him.
