Magic Carpets were introduced as a form of transportation with th release of Desert of Flames, and is a form of both Intrazone and Interzone transportation.
The Safars of Maj'Dul provide this service to increase contact and commerce between the Dervish nation and the rest of Norrath.

Interzone Carpets

To the Desert of Ro

The following zones all have carpets that will transport you TO the docks in The Sinking Sands:
- Qeynos Harbor - at the docks between the
- East Freeport - On the southern arm of the docks, quite close to the Broker and to Renny Parvat, the collector.
- Butcherblock Mountains - on the Butcherblock Docks, at the base of the southern dock use by the boat to Nektulos Forest.
- Darklight Wood - at the Wanderlust Fair
From the Desert of Ro

The Magic Carpet at The Sinking Sands docks can transport to both Intrazone and Interzone destinations. The following are destinations outside of The Sinking Sands (with some restrictions noted):
- Maj'Dul
- The City of Kelethin - Good-aligned players only
- The City of Qeynos - Good-aligned players only
- The City of Freeport - Evil-aligned players only
- Butcherblock Mountains - Good-aligned players only
- Darklight Wood - Evil-aligned players only
- Gorowyn - Evil-aligned players only
Intrazone Carpets

The Sinking Sands

The following Magic Carpets will take you to the docks, but will only allow travel from the docks after you have been to that location and stepped on the ghostly carpet.
- Onerock Isle
- Twin Tears
- The Undercity Arena Note: you must visit the arena area and get the discovery experience update before you can return to this carpet, simply climbing on and flying it back to the docks is not enough.
The Pillars of Flame

The following Magic Carpets will take you to the Swiftrider Camp, but will only allow travel from the Swiftrider Camp after you have been to that location and stepped on the ghostly carpet.
