Starting the Quest

Most Lore and Legend Quests begin with a book. Find the book, The Efreeti's Scimitar, using the location information above. Next, read the book, The Efreeti's Scimitar, flip through all the pages, and accept the quest. Once you have accepted the quest you may place the book in your house. You do not need the book to progress the quest.

Steps

• Find the following auto-updating pieces by killing Efreeti in any zone:
  • an efreeti spirit, an efreeti swirling smoke, an efreeti wish fragment
• Find and examine the following tradeable pieces obtained by looting Efreeti in any zone, or buying them from other players
  • an efreeti silken sash, an efreeti shattered lamp, an efreeti broken shackle, an efreeti ancient promise, an efreeti oily essence

Rewards

• Trophy: Djarn's Avenger
• Experience
• Your Master's Strike, Master's Smite, Master's Rage, or Sinister Strike will now affect Efreeti.

Note that the quest level shown in your journal will scale with your character level, up to level 50.
