Based on recorded testimony from the trial of Kane Bayle, we know that Linnet was sympathetic to Kane following his indictment on high treason to the throne, and advocated his extradition to internal family justice, a plea that was ultimately denied. Linnet's maiden name and family line are unknown.
It has been suggested in at least one online forum that Linnet was unfaithful to Antonius III and bore Kane from an affair with the Captain of the Guard. No canonical evidence has been located to date supporting this insinuation.
