What does this information mean?

How to get the initial factionEdit

You start with low faction with the Gwalnax Brigade (-25000 faction, dubious). To raise your inital faction you need to harvest a ground item called dull kromslayer. It can be found around the giant hold area near Highton in Kylong Plains. Some known locations marked on eq2map here:

• ( 1130, 144, -2072 ) /waypoint 1130.00, 144.00, -2072.00 ,
• ( 986, 150, -2216 ) /waypoint 985.64, 149.79, -2216.00  ,
• ( 987, 131, -2267 ) /waypoint 986.84, 130.66, -2267.00  ,
• ( 958, 171, -2146 ) /waypoint 958.03, 170.96, -2146.00  ,
• or ( 969, 171, -2124 ) /waypoint 969.02, 170.54, -2124.42  .

It seems to be a random spawn among a few fixed locations with a very fast repop, but might be a bit hard to spot among the vegetation. When you find one you need to turn it in to Warlord Gadar Gwalnax in the Gwalnax Brigade Tower ( 1470, 165, -2910 ) /waypoint 1470, 165, -2910 by hailing him.
Completing this quest gives +5000 faction with The Gwalnax Brigade.
Repeat this until you have -5000 faction to get the quest described on this page.

1. Find the phylacteries of the Battle Master's slain troopers. The phylacteries are small flasks glowing green (if your particle graphics effects settings are tweaked a tiny bit) next to their bodies.
   • The body of Infiltrator Grazkin, ( 813, 127, -2246 ) /waypoint 813, 127, -2246, on top of the roof of the east hut down the giant hold. Note: the phylactery may be found slightly down the side of the roof at location ( 812, 118, -2228 ) /waypoint 812, 118, -2228.
   • The body of Infiltrator Jax, ( 810, 221, -2189 ) /waypoint 810, 221, -2189, southeast side of the giant hold
   • The body of Infiltrator Tarkaz, ( 1092, 122, -2236 ) /waypoint 1092, 122, -2236, inside a hollow tree west of the giant hold
   • The body of Infiltrator Shozak, ( 977, 137, -2344 ) /waypoint 977, 137, -2344, northwest side of the giant hold
   • The body of Infiltrator Zatuk, ( 1110, 144, -2031 ) /waypoint 1110, 144, -2031, next to the tree log bridge
   • The body of Infiltrator Tylenok, ( 816, 196, -2317 ) /waypoint 816, 196, -2317, northeast side of the giant hold
