What does this information mean?

[edit] Required

  • L20+ Tradeskill Profession
  • Some T3+ (skill 90+) harvesting skills

[edit] Starting the Quest

Quest starters are Trades Coordinators:

[edit] Steps

  1. Go harvest 50 "raw" materials from The Thundering Steppes
    • One quest udpdate per successful harvest, regardless of output. This is not for 50 "raws", but 50 harvests. Node type does not matter, and you actually get to keep the "raws" you get.
  2. Return to the Grandmaster
  3. Make 3 of a level 20 recipe item from a list to pristine/apprentice IV level (quest sometimes updates after just making 1 item)

[edit] Rewards

  • For Provisioners
  • For all other tradeskill classes you get to choose one advanced recipe book from the 20 to 29 range for your class only
  • Tradeskill Experience
  • +250 Faction for your city's tradeskill faction

[edit] Management of rewards

It is recommended that persons starting this quest Examine the content of the Advanced volumes offered as rewards and their average price and availability on the Broker. In particular, volumes at the high end of the Tier tend to be rarer, more expensive and contain key recipes, such as some imbued chest armour pieces. Likewise certain volumes are disproportionately valuable when obtained early, such as Tailor volumes with the recipes for Mastercrafted Hex Dolls (which can be equipped by characters at the very first level of each Tier), or those with certain Mastercrafted poisons.
