What does this information mean?
- Thorn wants you to obtain a Sanctum Trial Stone and to start a ring event. --The Sanctum Trial Stone drops from any mob. You do not need to have the quest to see one drop. (it is a chest drop and WILL drop even if the mobs are grey)
- In the Hall of Rites, lower level of the Sanctum, there is a small dragon head statue at the base of a column inside the pit at 9, 54, -17. You need to right click and pick the 'insert the stone' option. However, the statue in on a timer and is apparently rare and random (supposedly on a 5 hour respawn), so you may not see the 'insert' option right away. I'm told once it becomes active, however, it does stay that way "a while". When it is active, the statue will be flamey, when not active, it's the normal dull goldish color common in the zone, so a little difficult to see. The ring event is relatively quick. The stairs out of the pit become magically blocked when ring starts. The barriers on stairs will stay blocked until you finish event. I didn't try using my tinker call out. First wave is 8 65^^^, second wave is 4 66^^^, third is 2 66^^^, then named, 67^^^. All normal trash loots.
- NOTE: As you enter the Hall of Rites, there is a full dragon statue on a pedestal, with a popup title saying it's Zeixshi-kar. Don't confuse that with the head-only one inside the pit that you need for this quest.
- Return to Thorn and she now wants you to kill the following:
- After killing those the quest will auto-update, telling you to kill:
- Kill 4 scaleborn banishers which are actively fighting Wraiths for auto-updates, found in the Reservoir of the Wraith room ( 72, 39, -158 ) /waypoint 72, 39, -158
- Seek out the Severed Shade (in the same room as the Wraiths, on north side of Fountain)
- Now kill the following:
- 8 recovering soulclenchers - In the recovery room ( -137, 42, -177 ) /waypoint -137, 42, -177
- 10 scaleborn acolytes - In Soulrend Room ( -66, 36, -163 ) /waypoint -66, 36, -163
- A Scaleborn soulrender In Soulrend Room ( -66, 36, -163 ) /waypoint -66, 36, -163
- Return to Severed Shade.
- Head back to Recovery Room and Soulclencher Volz with trigger in hallway between Soulrend and Reservoir of Wraith. Kill him for update.
- Go to the forge ( -116, 65, -34 ) /waypoint -116, 65, -34, right-click it, and select "Break Open Metal Case" to complete the quest.
