You must know the language of the dead (The Whispers of Death in your completed quests), Death's Whisper, to complete this quest.
StepsEdit
- Read the notes that you were given from last quest. (You may also wish to collect or purchase the runes listed below ahead of time)
- Return to The Living Tombs
- Inspect The Phar'Un Monolith in the Trade Court ( -651, -18, 125 ) /waypoint -651, -18, 125 to progress the quest.
- Locate Phar'Ahkt in Living Tombs:
- The goal is to spawn Phar'Ahkt, who despawns after a while once you've spoken with him.
- To spawn him, you have to complete a little puzzle using runes that drop from zombies in Living Tombs
- You need the following runes to spell Phar'Ahkt's name: Phar, Ahk, Hek, Kan(seems rare), Tal. Trade Commission Aman's cronies, that spawn at the front of the trade building, and comes down the steps, seems to have more chance of dropping rares. You can purchase the runes of Phar and tal but the others must be looted.
- Inspect the monolith ( -651, -18, 125 ) /waypoint -651, -18, 125 and place all the runes to spawn Phar'Ahkt.
- Ask Phar'Ahkt about the location of the Ewer of Sul'Dae (The 6th speaking point presented). You must be able to speak Death's Whisper.
(Caution! If you pick the "I have no more questions. You may go." option, Phar'Ahkt will despawn, and anyone else with you who inserted their runes already may lose their chance to get quest completion. He does sometimes spawn on his own. Each player in a group must place the runes in the monolith in order to get the second update.)
