How to Start Speak to a Guide outside the Ironforge Estate

What does this information mean?

This is an unlimited repeatable quest, as long as the guide is there to give and complete it.

Starting the QuestEdit

For this quest, the guide will be panicking about the Void Tempests spawning in the Ironforge Estate. After a bit of roleplaying you will be offered the quest with the following Description text:

A frantic Concordium Pupli Adept, by the name of Adonia, was rounding up able bodied adventurers to help battle the Void invaders that showed up in North Qeynos.

NotesEdit

Guide event - Void Invasion of Qeynos

Event as it appears in the quest journal

  • The Guide's name does not have to be Adonia.
  • The quest scales only to tier 7. Players level 76 and above will be fighting gray mobs unless mentoring.
  • All of the mobs are solo encounters, but you may group and even mentor. The Guide triggers the spawn based on the UNmentored level of the person targeted, however, sometimes making it impossible to kill the encounter while mentoring. It is advised that you inform the Guide that the lower level member of the group be the trigger target.

StepsEdit

  1. One at a time, kill 4 dark seepages or dark horrors.
  2. Kill a fifth spawn - dark seepage, dark horror or shadow brute. This fifth spawn has an AOE knockback on death.
  3. Kill the Void Tempest. It has a large knockback, but will not chase you far (presumably to protect the uninvolved).
  4. Return to the guide.
