If you decide you no longer want to ride it, this mount can be placed in your home.

To do so, press C to open the character sheet and click on the Mounts tab. Drag the icon for this mount to your bag. R click it in your bag and, when the window opens asking if you want to turn it into a house item, choose yes.
After turning it into a house item it can be manipulated just like other house items when you are in decorator mode.
