When I came here yesterday to read up on my Fury's spells, I noticed that there are pages for both Wildling Elixir and Wilding Elixir. Both are listed as level 32 spells with the exact same stats and both display the Minor Elixir spellline. But Wilding (no l) is shown as the level 32 entry, when I know my Fury got Wildling (with an l). So I'm wondering what's going on. Other sites also list both a Wilding and a Wildling Elixir, but for example Allakazham has just a single entry for Wilding but lists all the upgrades for Wildling. Is missing that second l just a common mistake, or was this spell renamed, are these really two different spells, or what? I'd like to combine the two pages so the spellline displays correctly, but can't until I'm sure I know the situation. HarshLanguage 13:14, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Good question. I've placed a FactCheck tag on each of those two pages in hopes that someone with a Fury might have some more concrete answers from in-game verification. If I personally get a chance, I'll check it myself, but if someone gets to it before me, that works too. Perhaps we have a user on the wiki who already has the information.--Kodia 11:45, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
I checked lootdb, eq2players and eq2llinks. All three pages only now Wildling Elixir (with an l) but no Wilding Elixir.
Missing verify is ingame, i have a fury and will check it later today

OK, I double-checked in-game. It's Wildling, with an L. I'll post a screenshot of the spell in my Fury's Spells book in a minute. Also, a broker search turned up zero results for Wilding and lots for Wildling. HarshLanguage 17:01, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
EQ2 wildlingelixir

Excellent! Thankyou so much for the screenshots. Any additional ones will help. I've started the relinking/renaming associated with removing the incorrectly named spell and everything should be updated in the database shortly. I'll put a note on the talk page of the correctly named spell so that we'll have a record to this conversation on the off chance there's still some outdated information somewhere that points to the old information.--Kodia 17:36, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Kodia. Wilding Elixir actually had a few bits that aren't on Wildling Elixir, but I'm not sure how to recreate them. First was the proper table for the heal amounts, and the second was a line in the examine window with the Effect. Also, I have no idea how to fix the name in the spellline listing; I assume that's some sort of included file that needs to be changed separately? -< HarshLanguage 19:26, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
My pleasure. As for which is correct, Uberfuzzy followed along behind me and cleaned up a little bit more while I was at work. Could you check the Wildling Elixir page again and see if that's closer to what you were looking for? We have a way to review and restore previous edits, so that nothing is ever lost. I think we've caught most of the missing or changed information, but if you could take a look at it, that would be great. You are correct about the spell line information; it is an included file. I think the spelling is now correct on the spell line too but the databases may need to catch up to our edits.--Kodia 20:56, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Everything looks good to me now. -- HarshLanguage 17:13, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
