Background[]
While not directly required by nor related to any quests, this NPC has been used by the developers to give hints about things that will be coming in the future of the game, or for lore related to what is occurring in the world.
Previously, the Keeper has hinted at the existence of the quest, The Courts of Maj'Dul: Of Fate and Destiny, and to the return of the Gods to Norrath in Echoes of Faydwer. However, its dialogue has not been changed since January 2008. It currently says, "When the one who walked from the water is made whole, the heralds of the nine shall arise. Knowledge is key. That is all."
