Notes[]

On the way to Silverwing, make sure to pick up the wrench from the Taskmaster's room (133.18 -459.42 -395.59).

Whoever picks it up will need to right-click on each statue to reprogram it, reducing the shocks from the sparks in the room and making it possible to deactivate the wards during the fight and keep Silverwing vulnerable to your attacks. (see below) All but three of the statues are reachable before the fight begins. The remaining three are in front of and flanking Silverwing's starting position.

It is recommended to have all the class archetypes represented in the party, or it may not be possible to achieve victory.

Strategy[]

MT can pull this named out of the room, which is recommended. Pull him up the ramp and have the MT park against one of the pillars in the upper hallway. He has a pretty hefty AoE on a 1:35 second timer. (seen 55sec - 1min45sec) Stand about 50 meters away and you should be good. (End of the ramp around the corner seems good.)

Silverwing may need to be pulled into the hallway because of a new healing-to-100% effect which was added in Gu53.

Beginning when Silverwing's health hits 80%, someone in the raid will be ultra-visioned. It will be announced zonewide: "(target)is now seeing through their mind's eye!" That person will need to go deactivate the large warding statue by clicking the small device on the floor next to the large statue. It can be difficult to see on many computers, so be sure to hover over the floor all around the warding statues. Until that person deactivates the statue, Silverwing will be immune to damage, but he will continue to AoE.

  • Fighters deactivate the first statue on the left when entering Silverwing's room. (SouthWest)
  • Scouts deactivate the center far side opposite Silverwing. (East)
  • Mages deactivate the statue opposite the fighters. (NorthWest)
  • Priests deactivate the one where Silverwing resides before he is pulled. (West)

Note: If you have not reprogrammed the wards already you will not be able to deactivate them now.

Starting at 60% of Silverwing's health, adds will start to spawn. A successful strategy is to mesmerize these until Silverwing is Immune, then focus on the adds while the ultra-visioned person works on deactivating their ward statue.

Also, there are two levers flanking Silverwing's original position. Deactivating one will summon a droag to turn it back on. Put two people on those levers and you will have less problems with the stuns.
