What does this information mean?
Starting the Quest[]
Snough, as played by a Guide giving out the quest in Qeynos Harbor.
GM / Guide Events can start in any city or zone in the game. The trick to being able to receive this quest is to recognize the starting message and roleplay successfully with the guide or GM running the event. In this case, the message you first see is "You feel a cool breeze coming from (the zone you're in)." After a brief bit of successful roleplaying with the guide, you should have a quest appear on your screen.
Furthermore, this is a seasonal quest which seems to only be ran during the Frostfell season of the year, although has been offered as late as Erollisi Day.
On the Extended server, the quest can be received from an NPC on the docks of Everfrost all year long.
Steps[]
- Harvest one carrot from a garden (or a bush) in The Commonlands, Antonica, Greater Faydark, Darklight Wood, Timorous Deep, or Frostfang Sea.
- Buy two luminous coal clusters from any tradeskill fuel vendor.
- Harvest two twigs of severed elm wood in any tier 1 zone.
- Note: Purchasing the carrot or the severed elm from the broker will not work. Except for the coal, these items must be harvested.
