What does this information mean?

Notes[]

  • There are two ways to complete this quest.

Primarily Method[]

  1. Loot 7 Goblin Territory Markers from the corpses of goblins.

Alternate Method[]

Those working on the Kunark Ascending Tradeskill Timeline who find themselves in Twark without Goblish can complete the quest by locating ground-spawn territory markers found in only in Twark (details below).

For the sake of clarity in this article, the phrase "body-drop version" refers to Goblin Territory Markers obtained through combat, which are No-Trade inventory items. The terms "visible markers" or "statues" refers to the tiny statues that can be collected while working on the Kunark Ascending Tradeskill Timeline.

Notes for the Kunark Ascending Crafting timeline[]

Goblish is required to be able to speak to Glibnox for the Kunark Ascending tradeskill timeline. However, if you haven't already completed "Claiming the Goblish Tongue", but it is in your journal, you can complete it in Twark without further combat.

Above: The territory markers appear in the Tracking window (left). On the right and rightlighted in yellow: Unlike the looted version, these are harvestable statues. (click to enlarge).

Assuming you have the quest, simply use Track Harvestables in Twark to find the tiny "goblin territory marker" statues that update it (low-level toons will want to have progressed the timeline to the point where they are no longer kill-on-sight before attempting this!)

  • The statues appear near the Bloody Tooth Watchers in the Twark region of the Obulus Frontier.
  • They are tiny and very hard to see. Use Track Harvestables to find them effectively.
    • If you don't have this in your AA spec, press L to open the AA tree and use the drop-down arrow menu on the far right of the AA tree. Create a harvesting-specific AA spec that includes 5 points in Track Harvestables. You can switch back later if you also have specs for Mass Production, transmuting, and so on.
  • They can only be harvested while "Claiming the Goblish Tongue" is in your journal.

Low-level toons who foolishly arrive in Twark with neither Goblish, nor the quest to learn it, have only two options:

  1. Leave the zone, go get the quest, and re-enter via Crusaders Cave. This is doable on a flying mount: stay as high as possible, and avoid the lava pool in the middle (there's an aggro mob that floats over it)
  2. Stay in Twark, and get a high-level friend to come kill goblins until they drop the starter. Weirdly, killing Twark goblins doesn't seem to damage your faction with them (To be confirmed - also do Twark goblins actually drop the starter?)
