Ghouls, like many undead are hard to narrow down as a race. SoE doesnt always use the correct drop tables to match the correct model to the correct internal race code. Many Ghouls are reactive (meaning it will work on) to the "Master" attack if attuned to "Zombie" but their model is not that of traditional zombies. Also be careful to not judge based on drops, as things with this model have been reported as dropping "a vampiric incisor" and even "vampire love note" yet look nothing like the vampires we know.
