We also recently published some player-made tutorial videos on our official YouTube channel! These videos were made by community member Jethal Silverwing. This wiki even gets a shout out!

I hope you are enjoying Cobalt Scar and Siren's Grotto (update those pages, will ya?!) which were released this week with Scars of the Awakened. If you haven't seen it yet, take a look at the official trailer!
In addition to all of the amazing new content that was released yesterday, today also marks the return of the City Festival to Freeport! The festival and the Aether Races will be here until May 7th.
I also wanted to point out a cool page here on the wiki -- Easter Eggs! This discussion recently popped up again on the EQ2 forums, and it's been a lot of fun reading everyone's favorite finds in the game. Do you have some? Make sure you add them!
And the last tidbit of the week...I have my first in game item! In the Community Lounge, you can now click on a bottle in the bar area to receive "Dexella's Drink of Delight (Alcoholic)." I'll make sure to always have some of these in my bags, so if you see me in game, feel free to ask for a sip!

It's A Double XP Weekend!. And that's ALL forms of XP ( AA, Adventure, Tradeskill, andGuild). Double Experience will be turned on at noon (12:01pm PDT) on Friday, April 26th and will run through midnight (11:59pm PDT) on Sunday, April 28th. Now is a perfect time to get yourself to max level, start building up an alt, or help out your guild!
Tomorrow (April 25), we're going to be doing two webcasts on the SOE Twitch TV channel. At 4:00pm (Pacific), it's an EverQuest II cast! Holly "Windstalker" Longdale (Producer) will be hosting the cast, with guests Tim "Haohmaru" Heydelaar, Dave "Maevianiu" Kish, and Akil "Lyndro" Hooper to talk more about Scars of the Awakened and what's next for EQ2! Then, at 4:30pm (Pacific), Brasse is sitting down with our events staff to talk SOE Live, including registration opening! These are two webcasts you do NOT want to miss! If you have any questions that you want to ask in either cast, you can leave it in the forums.
Writs are special types of quests that award personal status points instead of coin or treasure rewards. Status points can be used to purchase items from City Merchants, pay rent on some houses and help level up your Guild.
